How I Found Peace: Alison's Story

When I was 20 years old, I felt empty inside. I was miserable and had no peace. I tried to find meaning through relationships, travel, and adventure, but nothing was working long-term.

As I searched, I discovered that Jesus is alive and real and that he loved me! I admitted to God that I was making a mess of running my own life and that I needed his help.

When I opened the door to Jesus, he forgave me for every bad thing I've ever done. I became part of an amazing family.

I found joy and peace! Jesus gave me purpose and direction in life.I have confidence that when I die, I will enjoy eternal life.

When I started a relationship with Jesus, I found what my heart was longing for.

How I Found Jesus

"2020 was the year I gave my life to Jesus Christ, and my life has never been the same. I was struggling with anger, confusion, and finding out who I was. One day in late spring I had my own personal encounter with Jesus after years of just going to church. After that encounter, God gave me a real plan and purpose in life. He replaced my anger with joy and happiness. As I learned more about Jesus, I embraced my true identity in Christ."

"When COVID was officially announced, everyone was advised to stay indoors. I found myself with a lot of free time and I’d spend it watching YouTube, Tiktok, or sleeping. While I was scrolling on Tiktok, I suddenly ran across a video speaking about God. I’ve always believed in God and gone to church regularly, and I always thought that was enough until I saw the video. It talked about aspects of faith I’d never learned about, and initially it scared me. I never knew about the Rapture or the Mark of the Beast. I was fearful but also curious to learn more. I went to a website called Jesuscares.com and talked to someone online. I discovered that I needed to repent and ask Jesus to forgive my sins, which I did. After that I bought a Bible and started reading and praying regularly. I started to feel God’s love; it was amazing. I learned that I shouldn’t be scared about the End Times, but happy because I know I’m saved."
